Best weapon for Chasca, calculated

The Daybreak Chronicles tops the weapon calc for Chasca at 30,879 average damage on Normal Attack combo. Every row below is the same hit with only the weapon swapped, at Level 90, talent 10 and refinement 1 — the right-hand column is the damage you give up by running it instead.

Each bow equipped on a Lv90 Chasca at talent 10 — base ATK, substat and any modelled passive. Weapons whose passive is not modelled show only their raw stats; better a missing buff than a wrong one. Swap any of them in the Chasca calculator to re-run the whole chain on your own panel.

Ascension passives

  • Bullet Trick not modelled — text only

When the Elemental Skill Spirit Reins, Shadow Hunt's Multitarget Fire is being charged, if there are party members who meet the Elemental Conversion Type requirements, gain the following effects based on the number of different eligible Elemental Types present: ·There is a 33.3%/66.7%/100% chance for each Type to trigger "Spiritbinding Conversion" and cause the 3rd Shadowhunt Shell loaded into the cylinder to be randomly converted into a Shining Shadowhunt Shell from one of the corresponding Elemental Types. ·Each Elemental Type will grant Chasca 1 stack of Spirit of the Radiant Shadow, increasing the DMG of Shining Shadowhunt Shell by 15%/35%/65%. This effect lasts until the current Multitarget Fire ends. Max 3 stacks.

  • Intent to Cover not modelled — text only

When a nearby party member triggers a Nightsoul Burst, Chasca will fire a "Burning Shadowhunt Shot" at a nearby opponent, dealing Nightsoul-aligned Anemo DMG equal to 150% of the Shadowhunt Shell DMG from her Elemental Skill Spirit Reins, Shadow Hunt. If the party has Pyro, Hydro, Cryo, or Electro characters, the Burning Shadowhunt Shot will be converted to deal Nightsoul-aligned Elemental DMG of the corresponding Elemental Type equal to 150% of the DMG dealt by Spirit Reins, Shadow Hunt's Shining Shadowhunt Shells. The DMG done in this way is considered Charged Attack DMG.

  • Night Realm's Gift: Everburning Heart not modelled — text only

After her Nightsoul points are exhausted, Chasca will switch to consuming Phlogiston to maintain her Nightsoul's Blessing. While in an area with Phlogiston Mechanics within Natlan, she can use Nightsoul Transmission: Chasca. When the active character is in the air, the following will occur when switching to Chasca: Chasca will enter the Nightsoul's Blessing state and gain 32 Nightsoul points. Nightsoul Transmission can be triggered once every 10s by your own team.

  • Mediation's True Meaning not modelled — text only

25 Phlogiston will be restored when your own party members defeat an opponent. This effect can trigger once every 12s. This has no effect in Domains, Trounce Domains, or the Spiral Abyss.

Chasca build questions, answered

What does Chasca scale off?

Chasca's Normal Attack combo scales off total ATK — character base ATK plus weapon base ATK, then (1 + ATK%) and flat ATK on top. A weapon’s base ATK line therefore feeds this character directly.

What stat does Chasca get from ascension?

Chasca's ascension substat is CRIT Rate. It arrives at the Level-80/90 ascension and is part of the character's own stats, so the calculator counts it before any artifact roll is added.

What is the best weapon for Chasca?

Ranked by computed Normal Attack combo damage at Level 90, talent 10 and refinement 1, The Daybreak Chronicles is the strongest bow for Chasca at 30,879 average damage per hit. The Astral Vulture's Crimson Plumage used by this page's preset panel averages 25,321, 18.0% behind it.

What artifacts should Chasca use?

Obsidian Codex (4) is the set this calculator presets Chasca with, and the damage tables include its bonuses. Set effects that depend on the element of the hit are applied per row rather than as a flat average.

How much damage should Chasca do?

On the default Level-90, talent-10 build shown above, Chasca's largest single hit averages 20,877 — the table lists its CRIT and non-CRIT numbers separately. That is a reference panel, not a target: load your own artifact rolls into the calculator to get your own number.

Do these numbers include Chasca's constellations?

No — every table is computed at C0. Constellations that are unconditional and clearly numeric are modelled in the calculator and marked as such on this page; the rest are listed as text only and change nothing.

How those numbers are produced: the damage formula, term by term, and the weapon & artifact build guide. If Chasca still hits soft, the six levers ranked by damage added shows which multiplier is holding a build back.
